Today i have a trick for bloggers, i hope everybody like my
previous blog post about ello. This trick may usefull for blogspot(blogger.com)
bloggers. how to move or unlock a Locked
widget in blogger blog.
Some blog theme
especially third-party sites providing themes may contain this types of
widgets. A locked widget in blogger cannot moved. You can unlock it by this
very simple method. Moving to the trick .blogger tips and tricks for bloggers
Let us Check how to do it safely.
How to Lock or Unlock a Blogger Widgets
A Locked blogger widget look like the below image
Step 1: Go to Blogger.com > Click on Template > Edit Template
Nb: Before you edit the blogger template it is safe to Backup your blogger template
Step 2: Now you can see the blogger template
Click on> Jump To Widget> Select the widget you want to unlock, here i select HTML98 its a Top Menu Widget
Step 3:Now You can see the Code of that widget
<b:widget id='HTML98' locked='true' title='Top Menu ' type='HTML'>
Change the locked='true' to locked='false'
True means that your widget is locked, When it is changed to false the widget will Unlocked and free to move
Step 4: Save the Template You are done
