The lead mobile messaging app service has passed 600 millian active monthly users. wechat is also so close to the whatsapp almost 440millian active users on wechat. and the good news is 60 millian active users from india.The popularity of whats app increases because it availble in wide range of platforms including Nokias Low end devices like  Java 540, Sybian windows phone android, iphone etc.The wide range of avilablity makes the whatApp more popular.

The Company was acquired y facebook for $19 Billian at februvary 2014.
